Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is a bit better than Moto G Power's 76.1 global score. These phones come with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Moto G Power has Android 11. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro body is somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than the Moto G Power, even though it was released 3 years before.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little sharper screen than Moto G Power, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.

Moto G Power captures a little bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Moto G Power also has a lot larger aperture to take better photography in poorly lited situations, a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a way more megapixels camera.

Moto G Power features a greater storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB. Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G Power. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Moto G Power, resigning a couple specs and features.
