The LG Velvet is much better than the Motorola Moto G Power, with an 87.1 score against 76.1. LG Velvet's design is just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Motorola Moto G Power, even though both were released only a couple months apart. LG Velvet features a bit better looking display than Moto G Power, because although it has a just a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a quite bigger screen.

The LG Velvet has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Moto G Power, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage. The LG Velvet features a little faster processing unit than Motorola Moto G Power, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG Velvet also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

The LG Velvet has a better camera than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures in low light situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality.

The Motorola Moto G Power counts with improved battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4300mAh.

The LG Velvet costs a lot more money than the Moto G Power, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
