Samsung Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G Power, with a score of 83 against 76.1. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an way older cellphone than the Motorola Moto G Power, but it is just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Moto G Power has Android 11, offering a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a better pixel quantity per screen inch. The Motorola Moto G Power has just a bit more storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G Power also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better processing unit than Moto G Power, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Moto G Power has a much better battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 52% larger battery capacity. Motorola Moto G Power features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier camera sensor taking lower quality images and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a F1.7 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola Moto G Power also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto G Power. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Note8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto G Power, letting go some features and specs.
