Comparison review

The Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than the Moto G Power's 76.1 overall score. Xperia 1 is an older cellphone than the Moto G Power, but it is thinner and lighter anyway. The Xperia 1 counts with a bit faster processor than Moto G Power, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Xperia 1 has a brighter display than Moto G Power, because it has a lot better pixels density, a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution and a little larger display. The Sony Xperia 1 has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G Power, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more internal memory capacity.

Motorola Moto G Power captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and video and a tinier camera sensor shooting worse quality photographs and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Moto G Power also counts with higher 30 fps video frame rate and a much better 16 MP resolution camera in the back.

The Moto G Power features a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has a 50% more battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G Power. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Moto G Power, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
