The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a score of 79, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G Power's global score of 76.1. These phones include Android OS, but Xperia XZ2 Compact has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto G Power has Android 11, giving a couple additional features and performance enhancements. Despite of the fact Xperia XZ2 Compact is way older and thicker than the Motorola Moto G Power, it's body is still lighter.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a much better screen than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little better screen pixel density. Moto G Power counts with a bit bigger memory to install applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto G Power also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little bit better performance than Motorola Moto G Power. Both have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM. The Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rate, a back facing camera with more megapixels and a bigger camera sensor.

The Motorola Moto G Power has a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
