The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G Power, getting a global score of 82.2 against 76.1. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier phone than Motorola Moto G Power. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit more powerful processor than Moto G Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much better screen than Moto G Power, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a much higher display pixel density. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a slightly better camera than Moto G Power, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a more MP camera in the back and a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

The Motorola Moto G Power features a bit bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto G Power also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB.

Moto G Power features a really longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto G Power. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some money and buy the Motorola Moto G Power, resigning a couple specs and features.
