The Sony Xperia Z5 is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G Power, with a overall score of 77.6 against 76.1. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia Z5 has older 5.1 version while Motorola Moto G Power has Android 11 version. Sony Xperia Z5 is an noticeably older device than Motorola Moto G Power, but Sony was able to make it notably thinner and extremely lighter.

The Sony Xperia Z5 has a better looking display than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better screen pixel density. The Moto G Power counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5, because it has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB more internal memory capacity.

Xperia Z5 counts with a bit superior CPU than Moto G Power, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Xperia Z5 has a slightly better camera than Moto G Power, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a back camera with much more MP and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.

Moto G Power features a much longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 2900mAh.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G Power. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Moto G Power, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
