The Xiaomi Mi 8 is just a bit better than the Moto G Power, with an 83.3 score against 76.1. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has the older 10 version while Moto G Power has Android 11 version. Although Xiaomi Mi 8 is older than Moto G Power, it's body is noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter.

Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit sharper display than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2248 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Moto G Power shoots clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Moto G Power also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better low light captures and videos and a way more MP camera in the back.

Xiaomi Mi 8 features a quite bigger memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Motorola Moto G Power has a really longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 47% bigger battery size.
