The Xperia 1 VI is a bit better than the Moto G Stylus 5G (2021), getting a score of 83.2 against 82.1. Xperia 1 VI's construction is noticeably lighter and much thinner than the Moto G Stylus 5G (2021). Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 VI has the newer 14 version and Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) has Android 11, giving you a couple additional features.
The Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) has a much powerful CPU than Xperia 1 VI, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. Sony Xperia 1 VI counts with a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2021), because it has much more pixels per display inch, a quite larger display and a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution.
The Xperia 1 VI takes a lot better pictures and videos than Moto G Stylus 5G (2021), because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have a 48 megapixels resolution back camera, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution. Xperia 1 VI counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2021), and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB, the Xperia 1 VI also has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xperia 1 VI's battery duration is very similar to the battery lifetime in Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2021).
