Motorola Moto G100 has a global score of 88.9, which is slightly better than the Huawei P40 Pro's 88.2 global score. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Moto G100 has the newer 11 version while Huawei P40 Pro has Android 10 version. The Motorola Moto G100 body is newer and a little lighter than Huawei P40 Pro's, but it is also a little bit thicker.
The Motorola Moto G100 features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Pro. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 8 GB RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro has a bit better display than Motorola Moto G100, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater screen density and a quite better 1200 x 2640 resolution.
Moto G100 features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Moto G100 also has a SD card slot that holds up to 1 TB. Huawei P40 Pro features just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G100, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, a lot lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much lower resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
Moto G100 has greater battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.
