Moto G100 is much better than Motorola Edge 40, with an 88.9 score against 77.2. Although it's the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it's also a lot older, somewhat heavier and a lot thicker. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Moto G100 has the previous 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.
The Motorola Edge 40 features a slightly better looking screen than Moto G100, although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2400, a just a little worse screen density and a little bit smaller screen. Moto G100 counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G100 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Motorola Moto G100 features a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Edge 40. Both of them have 8 GB of RAM and 8 processing cores. The Moto G100 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light captures and videos and a lot tinier back camera sensor taking way lower quality videos and photographs, it also counts with a way higher 5760x3240 video resolution and a camera with lot more megapixels.
The Motorola Moto G100 features a little longer battery life than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4400mAh.
