Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A42 is much better than Motorola Moto G30, getting a global score of 87 against 78.1. Even though Samsung Galaxy A42 and the Motorola Moto G30 were only released with a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy A42 is a bit thinner and a little lighter. The Galaxy A42 has a bit superior CPU than Moto G30. Both have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a screen that is just as good as the Motorola Moto G30 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy A42 has a bit lower pixel number in each inch in the screen, and they both have the same resolution of 720 x 1600, it also counts with a bit larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G30, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A42's battery life is just as good as the Moto G30 one. The Galaxy A42 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Moto G30, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low-light photography and videos and a much less mega pixels resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a much better video resolution.
