Moto G 5G is a little bit better than Moto G31, getting a overall score of 81.5 against 77. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Moto G 5G has the previous 10 version and Moto G31 has Android 11. Even though the Moto G 5G is better than Moto G31, it must be told that it is also an older, thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone.
Moto G31 features a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Moto G31 also counts with a just a bit greater display pixel density. Motorola Moto G31 counts with just a bit bigger memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto G31 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1 TB.
Motorola Moto G 5G features just a little better hardware performance than Moto G31. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Motorola Moto G 5G's battery performance is very similar to Moto G31's battery life. Motorola Moto G 5G shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Moto G31, because although it has a camera in the back with a lower 48 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a lot higher video definition and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better images and video in low light environments.
