Comparison review

The Moto G31 has an overall score of 77, which is a bit better than the Moto G8 Power's overall score of 76. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but Moto G31 has a newer 11 version while Moto G8 Power has Android 10, so it provides you some extra features and performance optimizations. The Moto G31 design is newer, a little lighter and thinner than Moto G8 Power.

Moto G8 Power features a CPU that is very similar to the Moto G31 one, they have a Octa-Core processor and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Moto G31 has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a same size screen, the Moto G31 also has a little higher pixels density and a quite better 1080 x 2400px resolution.

Motorola Moto G31 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photos and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola Moto G31 also counts with a lot better resolution back-facing camera.

Moto G31 has a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Moto G31 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Motorola Moto G8 Power features a battery life that is very similar to Moto G31's battery duration.
