Comparison review
Moto G31 has a general score of 77, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G9 Play's overall score of 76.7. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Moto G31 has a more recent 11 version and Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10, providing some nice extra features and improved performance. The Moto G31 construction is newer, just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Motorola Moto G9 Play.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play features a CPU that is very similar to Moto G31's processing unit, both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Moto G31 counts with a better looking display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better amount of pixels per display inch and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
Moto G9 Play shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Moto G31, because although it has a back facing camera with lesser MP resolution and a lower video resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better captures in low-light environments. Motorola Moto G31 features a bigger storage for applications and games than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G31 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1 TB.
Moto G9 Play features a battery life that is very similar to the battery performance in Moto G31.
