Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than Moto G31, having a 79.3 score against 77. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version while Moto G31 has Android 11. The Galaxy Note 5 design is thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Moto G31, even though it was released 6 years before.

The Moto G31 features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Moto G31 also has a larger number of cores (although slower). Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a better display than Motorola Moto G31, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better display pixels density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Motorola Moto G31 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G31 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB. Motorola Moto G31 counts with a superior battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Motorola Moto G31 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Moto G31 also has a bigger camera aperture for better captures in poorly lited environments and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
