Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is slightly better than Moto G31's overall score of 77. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Moto G31 has Android 11. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a just a bit heavier device than Moto G31, but both of them have the same thickness.
