The Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G31, with a 78.1 score against 77. Both of these devices come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system). The Galaxy XCover 5 construction is just a bit lighter but just a little bit thicker than Motorola Moto G31, and both were released only a couple of months apart.
The Moto G31 has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a higher display pixels density, a larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Galaxy XCover 5's processor is very similar to the Moto G31 one, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount.
Motorola Moto G31 shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a F1.8 aperture and the same video quality, the Motorola Moto G31 also has a back facing camera with lot more MP. The Galaxy XCover 5's memory for games and applications is very similar to Moto G31's one, they have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and exactly the same internal storage.
The Moto G31 has a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
