The HTC One M9 is an older and a little heavier phone than Moto G4 Plus, but HTC was able to make it just a little thinner anyway. The HTC One M9 has a quite superior processing power than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64 bits processor.
HTC One M9 has a brighter display than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the HTC One M9 also counts with a just a little greater amount of pixels in each display inch. Moto G4 Plus features much more storage for apps and games than HTC One M9, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB, the Moto G4 Plus also has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The HTC One M9 shoots much better photos and videos than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a more mega-pixels camera in the back. The Motorola Moto G4 Plus has just a bit longer battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
HTC One M9 costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
