Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a score of 78.7, which is a bit better than the Moto G4 Plus's 72.1 overall score. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's construction is a little bit heavier but a lot thinner than the Moto G4 Plus, and they were only released 8 months apart. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a much better looking screen than Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a better 1440 x 2560px resolution and a better pixel count in each screen inch.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit superior processor than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking images and/or video in low-light situations and a lot less mega-pixels camera in the back, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with better battery duration than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G4 Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto G4 Plus, letting go some features and specifications.
