The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is much better than the Moto G4 Plus, with an 81.6 score against 72.1. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an older and somewhat heavier cellphone than the Moto G4 Plus, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat thinner anyway. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a bit larger display, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a higher count of pixels per display inch.

Motorola Moto G4 Plus has a superior memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Motorola Moto G4 Plus also has 64 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has lesser cpu cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU.

The Galaxy Note 4 has just a bit better battery duration than Moto G4 Plus, because it has a 3220mAh battery size against 3000mAh. The Galaxy Note 4 has a superior camera than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low-light captures, and they both have a back facing camera with a 16 megapixels resolution, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a lot better (4K) video definition.

Although Galaxy Note 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G4 Plus. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Note 4, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, letting go a couple features and specifications.
