The Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is better than the Motorola Moto G4 Plus's general score of 72.1. Galaxy Note8's design is newer and somewhat thinner than the Motorola Moto G4 Plus's, but it's incredibly heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a brighter display than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a higher count of pixels per screen inch, a little bigger display and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960.

The Galaxy Note8 features a bit bigger storage to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Note8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 has a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a way worse resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a larger diafragm aperture. Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Moto G4 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto G4 Plus. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, letting go a couple specifications.
