Moto G4 Plus has a score of 72.1, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S III Cricket's overall score of 71.5. The Moto G4 Plus body is heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy S III Cricket. The Moto G4 Plus has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S III Cricket, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 2 GB more RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S III Cricket counts with a bit better display than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a quite lower display pixels density and a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 720. Motorola Moto G4 Plus counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S III Cricket, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 128 GB.

The Moto G4 Plus features a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S III Cricket, because it has a 43 percent larger battery size. The Motorola Moto G4 Plus captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S III Cricket, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Motorola Moto G4 Plus also has a lot bigger aperture to capture better captures and video in poorly lited situations and a way better resolution back facing camera.

Although Moto G4 Plus is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy S III Cricket, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S III Cricket. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Moto G4 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S III Cricket, resigning some features and specifications.
