Samsung Galaxy S4 is a bit better than Moto G4 Plus, with a 76.1 score against 72.1. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy S4 is extremely older than Moto G4 Plus, it's design is way thinner and lighter. Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a little faster processor than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has lesser processing cores (although they are faster) and less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy S4 counts with a better screen than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a bit better quantity of pixels per screen inch. Galaxy S4 features a camera that is just as good as the Motorola Moto G4 Plus one, although the Galaxy S4 has a lower video quality, a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures and video in poorly lited situations and a camera with a lower 13 MP resolution.

Motorola Moto G4 Plus features a little longer battery performance than Galaxy S4, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a bit more expensive than Moto G4 Plus, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
