The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a general score of 79, which is a little bit better than Moto G4 Plus's overall score of 72.1. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy S4 is noticeably older than Moto G4 Plus, it's body is incredibly thinner and lighter. The Galaxy S4 has a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra GPU.

The Galaxy S4 features a better looking display than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a just a little better pixels quantity per screen inch. Galaxy S4 has a camera that's very similar to Moto G4 Plus's camera, although the Galaxy S4 has a camera with a lower resolution, a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and a worse 1920x1080 video definition.

The Motorola Moto G4 Plus counts with slightly more memory for games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G4 Plus also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Motorola Moto G4 Plus counts with a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a little more expensive than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
