Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an overall score of 85.7, which is better than the Moto G4 Plus's global score of 72.1. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an older phone than the Moto G4 Plus, but it's noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. Galaxy S6 Edge has a much better looking display than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display.

The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a slightly bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a faster processor than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a graphics processing unit.

The Moto G4 Plus has just a little better battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15 percent larger battery size. The Moto G4 Plus has just a bit better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and videos, they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rate.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto G4 Plus. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, giving up a couple features and specs.
