The Galaxy S7 edge has a score of 78.1, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto G4 Plus's 72.1 global score. Even though Galaxy S7 edge and the Motorola Moto G4 Plus were released only a couple months apart, the Galaxy S7 edge body is just a little bit heavier but also notably thinner. Galaxy S7 edge counts with a little better hardware performance than Moto G4 Plus, although it has a lower number of cores , they both have a 4 GB RAM.
Galaxy S7 edge has a slightly better display than Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy S7 edge also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a better count of pixels per display inch. The Galaxy S7 edge shoots clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a lot worse resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video quality and a bigger aperture.
The Moto G4 Plus counts with a better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has an external memory slot that admits 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features greater battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a 20% bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G4 Plus. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy S7 edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Moto G4 Plus, resigning a couple features and specs.
