Xperia 5 II has a slightly better screen than Moto G4 Plus, because it has a quite greater display pixels density, a little bit larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. Xperia 5 II features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB.

Sony Xperia 5 II features a superior camera than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photos and videos and a way better (4K) video definition. The Xperia 5 II features greater battery duration than Moto G4 Plus, because it has a 33% more battery capacity.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G4 Plus. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Moto G4 Plus, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
