Xperia Z3 has an overall score of 77.3, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G4 Plus's global score of 72.1. Xperia Z3 is an older and a bit heavier cellphone than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, but Sony was able to make it thinner anyway. The Sony Xperia Z3 features a little better processing power than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
The Sony Xperia Z3 features a much sharper screen than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Xperia Z3 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Xperia Z3 also has a back facing camera with a much higher 20.7 megapixels resolution and a much better (4K) video definition.
Moto G4 Plus has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Xperia Z3, and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds up to 128 GB, the Moto G4 Plus also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Xperia Z3 has just a little bit longer battery performance than Moto G4 Plus, because it has a 7% larger battery size.
The Sony Xperia Z3 costs more money than Moto G4 Plus, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
