Comparison review

Xperia Z5 is a bit better than Moto G4 Plus, having a 77.6 score against 72.1. The Xperia Z5 construction is a lot thinner and a little bit lighter than Moto G4 Plus, even though they were released with only a couple months difference. The Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit faster processor than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

The Sony Xperia Z5 features a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a little higher screen pixel density. Moto G4 Plus has a greater storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with more internal storage.

The Xperia Z5 has a better camera than Moto G4 Plus, because it has a much better 3840x2160 video quality, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and video and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera. The Motorola Moto G4 Plus has just a little bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.

Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto G4 Plus. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
