Comparison review

Xperia Z5 Premium is much better than Moto G4 Plus, with a 79.8 score against 72.1. Even though the Xperia Z5 Premium and the Moto G4 Plus were released only a couple months apart, Xperia Z5 Premium's design is a lot thinner but also somewhat heavier. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a much higher pixel count per inch of screen and a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px.

Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit faster CPU than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Xperia Z5 Premium shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a much better 3840x2160 video quality, a bigger diafragm aperture and a lot better 23 mega pixels resolution camera.

Moto G4 Plus features a better memory for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit better battery performance than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a 14 percent larger battery size.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G4 Plus. If you want to save some money, you can get the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
