IPhone 7 is a bit better than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, having a score of 81.6 against 74.6. IPhone 7's construction is incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, even when they were only released with a couple of months difference. The Apple iPhone 7 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Moto G5 Plus, although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory.
Apple iPhone 7 counts with a display that's very similar to Moto G5 Plus's screen, although the Apple iPhone 7 has a quite smaller screen, a lot worse 750 x 1334 resolution and a quite worse display density. The iPhone 7 features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
IPhone 7 features a bit better camera than Moto G5 Plus, although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality videos and images and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting images or videos in low light environments, they both have a 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates.
Moto G5 Plus features a superior battery lifetime than iPhone 7, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G5 Plus. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Apple iPhone 7, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto G5 Plus, giving up a couple specifications.
