Asus ROG Phone has an overall score of 77.1, which is a bit better than the Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 overall score. The Asus ROG Phone design is newer and somewhat thinner, but notably heavier than Moto G5 Plus. The Asus ROG Phone has a slightly better looking display than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a little lower display density, it also counts with a larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2160 resolution.

The Asus ROG Phone features a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone features a bit superior processing unit than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM.

The Asus ROG Phone has better battery life than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. Moto G5 Plus shoots much clearer videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Moto G5 Plus also counts with a larger sensor taking better quality photos and videos and a bigger diafragm aperture for better images in poorly lited situations.

Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G5 Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Asus ROG Phone, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto G5 Plus, resigning some specifications.
