Google Pixel 3a XL has an overall score of 78.9, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto G5 Plus's overall score of 74.6. Google Pixel 3a XL's construction is a lot newer and somewhat thinner than Motorola Moto G5 Plus's, but it is just a little heavier. The Moto G5 Plus counts with a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better count of pixels per display inch.
Google Pixel 3a XL's processing unit is very similar to the processor in Moto G5 Plus, both of them have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount. Google Pixel 3a XL shoots slightly better videos and photos than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a tinier camera sensor and a smaller aperture which is not good for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Google Pixel 3a XL also counts with a more mega-pixels back camera.
The Moto G5 Plus features a much greater storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto G5 Plus also has an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB. The Google Pixel 3a XL has better battery life than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Google Pixel 3a XL is also by far the cheapest one.
