The HTC U11 is slightly better than the Moto G5 Plus, having a score of 77.6 against 74.6. Although HTC U11 and the Moto G5 Plus were released only 2 months apart, the HTC U11 body is just a bit heavier but also somewhat thinner than the Moto G5 Plus. HTC U11 features a little bit better processing power than Moto G5 Plus. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor.
HTC U11 features a slightly better looking screen than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a better 1440 x 2560 resolution, a better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a little bit larger screen. The HTC U11's memory to install games and applications is just as good as Moto G5 Plus's one, they have the same internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
HTC U11 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Moto G5 Plus, although it has a smaller sensor providing a worse image quality, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video definition, a 12 MP resolution back facing camera and a same size diafragm aperture. HTC U11 features a battery performance that is very similar to the battery lifetime in Moto G5 Plus.
The HTC U11 costs more than Moto G5 Plus, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
