The Huawei nova 5T has a general score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 global score. Even though the Huawei nova 5T is somewhat heavier than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, it's thinner and much newer. The Huawei nova 5T features just a bit better screen than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a little bit worse display density, it also counts with a larger screen and a little bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution.
Huawei nova 5T counts with a bit more memory for games and applications than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Huawei nova 5T features a little faster processing unit than Moto G5 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei nova 5T also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei nova 5T shoots much clearer videos and photos than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting images in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Huawei nova 5T has improved battery performance than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 3750mAh battery size.
Although Huawei nova 5T is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G5 Plus. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Moto G5 Plus, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
