Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than the Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 overall score. Although the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is a little heavier than Moto G5 Plus, it's somewhat thinner and also much newer. The Moto G5 Plus features a very superior CPU than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo counts with a much better looking display than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a better resolution of 1256 x 2760, a larger screen and a just a bit greater screen pixel density. Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a very superior camera than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a way bigger camera sensor.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a much better storage for applications and games than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo features a very superior battery lifetime than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 4310mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
