The Moto Z2 Force Edition is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, having a global score of 77.4 against 74.6. The Moto Z2 Force Edition is a a little bit lighter and way thinner cellphone than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, although both of them were released with only a few months difference.

The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition features just a little better performance than Moto G5 Plus. They have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores.

The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition's camera is very similar to the Moto G5 Plus one, and although the Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has a tinier back-facing camera sensor which provides a worse image and video quality and a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, they both have the same video frame rates, the same resolution camera in the back and the same video quality.

The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has a much better storage for apps and games than Moto G5 Plus, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Moto G5 Plus features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G5 Plus. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Moto G5 Plus, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
