The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a bit better than the Moto G5 Plus, with a overall score of 76.3 against 74.6. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a noticeably lighter and extremely thinner device than the Moto G5 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit superior processing unit than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and less cores , it also counts with an extra GPU.
Galaxy Alpha features a bit better looking display than Moto G5 Plus, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a much worse quantity of pixels per display inch. The Moto G5 Plus features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Moto G5 Plus also has a lot bigger diafragm aperture.
The Moto G5 Plus features much more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Motorola Moto G5 Plus has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
Although Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is more expensive than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G5 Plus. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Alpha, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G5 Plus, resigning some specs and features.
