Galaxy J7 Max is a bit better than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, having a 76.1 score against 74.6. Even though Galaxy J7 Max and Motorola Moto G5 Plus were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy J7 Max body is somewhat heavier but also thinner. The Galaxy J7 Max features a bit better hardware performance than Moto G5 Plus. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.

Motorola Moto G5 Plus has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Motorola Moto G5 Plus also counts with a just a little greater display pixels density. Moto G5 Plus counts with a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has an external memory card slot that holds 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
