Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 5 has a general score of 79.3, which is a bit better than the Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 global score. Galaxy Note 5's construction is extremely thinner than the Moto G5 Plus, although it's a little bit heavier and was released about 20 months before. Moto G5 Plus has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Moto G5 Plus also has 7 more cores (although slower).

Galaxy Note 5 has a better screen than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a quite higher display density, a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a quite bigger display. Moto G5 Plus counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Moto G5 Plus also has a SD card slot that admits up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Note 5 features a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller camera sensor taking lower quality photos and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a camera with much more mega-pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Moto G5 Plus both count with quite similar batteries.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G5 Plus. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Moto G5 Plus, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
