Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a general score of 80.4, which is a little bit better than Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 general score. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition and the Moto G5 Plus were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition design is a little bit heavier but somewhat thinner than the Moto G5 Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little bit better performance than Moto G5 Plus. Both of them have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a bit better looking screen than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a quite larger screen, a just a little higher display density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Moto G5 Plus and the Galaxy Note Fan Edition count with really similar cameras, both of them have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a same size camera sensor, the same camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back camera with a 12 megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a bit bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Moto G5 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has an external SD slot that allows up to 256 GB.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit superior battery performance than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 3200mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G5 Plus. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Moto G5 Plus, giving up a couple features and specifications.
