Galaxy Note5 has an overall score of 80.2, which is just a bit better than the Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 general score. The Galaxy Note5 design is much thinner than Moto G5 Plus, but it's a little heavier and was released about 20 months before. The Galaxy Note5 features just a little better performance than Moto G5 Plus. They have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Galaxy Note5 counts with just a bit better looking display than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, a quite bigger display and a quite higher pixels amount per inch of screen. Motorola Moto G5 Plus has a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto G5 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 128 GB.
Galaxy Note5 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in low light environments and a tinier camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy Note5 also counts with a much more mega pixels back facing camera.
The Motorola Moto G5 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note5 both have really similar batteries duration.
