Samsung Galaxy Note7 is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, getting a overall score of 79.5 against 74.6. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note7 and Motorola Moto G5 Plus were only released with a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note7's body is just a bit heavier but also somewhat thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 features just a bit better looking display than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because it has a little bit larger display, a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a little bit better screen density. The Motorola Moto G5 Plus features a bit better performance than Galaxy Note7, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Motorola Moto G5 Plus also has a larger number of cores (but slower).
Samsung Galaxy Note7's camera is very similar to Moto G5 Plus's camera, they have a F1.7 camera aperture, the same back-facing camera sensor size, the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rate and a 12 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back. Galaxy Note7 features a bit more storage for games and applications than Moto G5 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note7 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 counts with a little better battery duration than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 17% more battery capacity.
