Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 Sport is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, with a 77.8 score against 74.6. Even though Galaxy S5 Sport is way older and just a bit heavier than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, it's body is still a little thinner. The Galaxy S5 Sport has a sharper display than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a quite higher pixels number per display inch.

Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a bit better performance than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Moto G5 Plus has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 128 GB, the Moto G5 Plus also has more internal memory.

The Moto G5 Plus features a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit better camera than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller sensor and a way smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking images and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a much more megapixels camera in the back.

Although Galaxy S5 Sport is a better device, it costs more than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto G5 Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S5 Sport, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, giving up some specifications.
