The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is better than Moto G5 Plus, having an 85.7 score against 74.6. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is older than the Moto G5 Plus, it's design is somewhat lighter and way thinner. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a much more vibrant screen than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels count per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.

The Galaxy S6 Edge has a greater processing power than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a graphics processing unit. The Moto G5 Plus takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a much worse resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor and a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited environments.

Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. Motorola Moto G5 Plus has just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G5 Plus. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Moto G5 Plus, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
