Comparison review
The Galaxy S7 edge is slightly better than the Moto G5 Plus, with a general score of 78.1 against 74.6. Despite of the fact Galaxy S7 edge is older and just a bit heavier than Moto G5 Plus, it's body is still notably thinner. Moto G5 Plus has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Moto G5 Plus also has a greater number of cores (although slower).
The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit better display than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution, a better pixels density and a little bit bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge shoots a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G5 Plus. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video definition, a 12 mega pixels resolution camera in the back, a same size diafragm aperture and a 0.4 inches sensor.
Moto G5 Plus counts with a bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has superior battery performance than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G5 Plus. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G5 Plus, giving up a couple features and specifications.
