Galaxy Z Flip 3 is better than Moto G5 Plus, having an 85.6 score against 74.6. Although Galaxy Z Flip 3 is somewhat heavier than Moto G5 Plus, it's way thinner and noticeably newer. Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a little bit better performance than Moto G5 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 also has more RAM memory.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 has just a bit better display than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a little higher 1080 x 2636 resolution, a just a little higher pixels density and a larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a bit more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Motorola Moto G5 Plus counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have the same resolution camera, the Motorola Moto G5 Plus also has a bigger aperture to capture better photography and video in low light environments. Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a little longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G5 Plus. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G5 Plus, giving up some specifications.
