The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is way better than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, having a 94.6 score against 74.6. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is notably newer and way thinner than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus's, although it is also way heavier. Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Moto G5 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM.

The Motorola Moto G5 Plus and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 both count with very similar screens, because although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a just a little lower display density, it also counts with a much bigger screen and a higher 1768 x 2208 resolution. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a superior battery performance than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 50% greater battery capacity. Galaxy Z Fold 2 takes slightly better photos and videos than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light captures and videos, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with higher video frame rates and a lot bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto G5 Plus. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, giving up a couple features and specs.
