Comparison review

Xperia XZs has an overall score of 77.2, which is a bit better than the Moto G5 Plus's overall score of 74.6. The Xperia XZs body is just a bit heavier but thinner than Moto G5 Plus, and both were released only a couple of months apart. Xperia XZs has a screen that's very similar to the screen in Motorola Moto G5 Plus, they have the same exact 1080 x 1920 resolution, a same size screen and a higher pixels quantity in each inch of screen.

Moto G5 Plus counts with a bit better processing power than Xperia XZs, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Moto G5 Plus also has a larger number of cores. The Moto G5 Plus counts with a quite bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZs, because although it has a SD card slot that allows 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

Motorola Moto G5 Plus has a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 3000mAh battery size against 2900mAh. Sony Xperia XZs has a lot better camera than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZs also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera, higher video frame rate and a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photographs.

Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G5 Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia XZs, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Moto G5 Plus, resigning a couple specs and features.
